personally, i am excited...

not just because i am part of this fabulously crazy cast - honest! *grin*

but, because this is like a dream come true for a die hard boom boom room fan, like your truly. in the early 90's, the boom boom room was THE place to go for some good 'wholesome' entertainment! coming home from being away abroad for a rather long period of time, imagine my surprise and utter thrill to discover the existence of this gem hidden in the midst of conventional KL! being young(er) and curious, i gathered an entourage of equally 'curious' compadres and paid the establishment a visit. we were dizzy with glee (it wasn't the cocktail of mixed drinks, i assure you) to find what we saw inside! it very soon became one of our favourite haunts - there was also another 'happy' place which we frequent on a weekly basis...

the boom boom room was without a doubt the Studio 54 of KL and Joanne Kam its mistress of the night. she dishes out her brand of scandalous jokes to her ocean of eager subjects that commute weekly to pay tribute to the queen. she alone set an entire era that was hers to command at will. needless to say, the 'happy' people of KL was never the same again.

those of you who have an inkling of an idea, of what i am saying... you will understand my excitement! 'KAM... In Your Face' is made up of many sets of different performances; many of which will bring back fond memories at the boom boom room. to me, this IS boom boom room with a face lift! we have drawn new blood to add to the old.

KAM one, KAM all - for a night of fun filled variety. we are definitely people friendly; offering eye candies to satisfy ALL preferences... *wink* toniq productions is not one to dwell in the idea of norms. rest assured that, this show is in a completely different category of its own!

so KAM... we won't bite. not unless you want us to.
